Greetings,

Whenever I get the chance to go back to Sydney I notice changes, particularly around the area where I grew up.  There is more traffic, more high-rise, and more of what I remember has gone.  While I don’t go to visit the place, these changes make me realise that I have changed too, and I’m not the person I was when I lived there.  I recognise that’s how life works, and change is a part of our growth as individuals.  Life takes us on a journey where each encounter shapes us.

As I spent time with family I reflected on the changes that we experience together; the things that shape us as a whole and individually; the way that when we gather again, we will not be the same as we were the last time we were together.  It is a blessing that we have each other and so we should cherish those moments.

Thanks to you all, my church family, for all that you are to me as we journey together as a family of faith.
