Greetings to the Koonung Heights Community,

Our world is constantly changing and has from the beginning of time. The Greek philosopher, Heraclitus, is attributed as saying: “The only constant in life is change.”  He continued: “Everything changes and nothing remains still, and you cannot step twice into the same stream.”

History tells us of continuous changes, when kingdoms rise then fall, seasons come and go and people prosper, then fade away before passing away. The pace of life makes us feel that the speed of change has quickened, perhaps due to rapidly changing technology. We only need to compare our mobile phones, tablets, and motor cars to confirm the rapid upgrades taking place continuously.

Truths which date back to when time began do not change in importance. Integrity, decency, kindness, and compassion remain to touch our hearts always. All truth comes from Jesus Christ – the same yesterday, today and forever. In him we find truth and can take comfort and hope.
