Greetings …

… and welcome to the first edition of the Koonung Heights – Surrey Hills Uniting Church Community News.  My thanks to the new team who will bring us this publication each week, reminding us of church activities and different ways to be involved.

As we gather to worship this Sunday, we will mark the next step forward in our journey together as a new community.  To begin with we will, no doubt, notice changes and might find things a little strange, but if we journey together from a place of grace and generosity, all will be well.  We will strengthen the relationships that have begun to form, and will make new friends.

As a community we have much to be thankful for, and are blessed by the richness of the many gifts of our members.  As we continue to listen to the call of the Spirit and follow the example of Jesus, let us keep journeying with God into the amazing future that has been prepared for us.
