This balanced, thoughtful book is based on a series of lectures Archbishop Ramsey gave over a week at the Oxford University in 1961. I began reading the library copy thinking things have changed since then. The book fell apart as I turned the pages. One for the bin, I thought. But the more I read, the more I thought how valuable this little book is for anyone wanting to begin a journey of faith or for anyone wanting help to talk about their faith. I was delighted to discover the book was still in print, which perhaps is an indication of its worth.
Ramsey presents the central ideas of our faith with depth as well as clarity and sincerity.
