Greetings,
During our journey through Lent and Holy Week, we have experienced a myriad of emotions. After the grief of Good Friday and the emptiness of Saturday, we found hope and joy on Easter Day when we heard again the news of the resurrection and were reminded of God’s grace.
I wonder how long we might hold on to this hope; to the promise of new life. We can quickly forget these promises when we move back into the ordinary things of life. Yet there is new life that the Spirit is breathing all around us, new life that we are invited into. We just need to keep our eyes opened so we can see it.
It is in the way we are coming together as a new community, the way that friendships are forming, and the way that we are learning to do life with one another. Let us continue to look to the new life that God is calling us into, and let us share our joyful discoveries with one another along the way.
Blessings – Rev Heather Hon (she/her)
